I have been so busy with my programming class lately, I've only really had time to go on a forum or two and maybe a bit of jobsearching. I don't exactly live a exciting life. I think it's safe to say I've become a first class geek because I am actually enjoying my programming class and not caring as much that I have little time for anything else. The only thing that really bothers me about it is it takes me away from my friends and that can be pretty shitty. Anyway, I've currently finished with C++ (which I was just getting the hang of) in class and am now starting on Java. It's different to C++ (a different programming language) and while I've only just had a brief taste of it today, I'm looking forward to learning more about it. By the end of this semester, I'm hoping to be able to write my own Java applets. ^^ This course is bound to be difficult but I'm happy doing programming and it's a welcome break from networking (which I was doing before now). Don't get me wrong. I love networking. But I have also grown to love programming. I find that it exercises my logical side and that is always a good thing. If I can end up being like a female human version of Decepticon Shockwave oneday, I'll be happy. Keep in mind, I don't ever want to be a Decepticon (or anything like them) but I do admire Shockwave's logical ways. I think we should all live by his motto: "Clarity of thought before rashness of action." The world would certainly be a better place if we did, in my humble opinion.
